Open House

Here's some of the information discussed at yesterdays Open House.

Homework will be assigned weekly. Homework is to be completed each night and returned every Monday.  Students will need crayons, handwriting paper and a pencil to keep at home.

Calendar A calendar will be sent home at the beginning of each month.  The calendar will include reminders, important dates, topics we will be covering and classroom needs.

Conduct Good behavior is expected and important to ensure a productive learning environment.  Your child will have a Daily Folder with a Weekly Report with notes on their work habits, behavior and social skills. Please initial daily and review the rules if necessary.

Change of Clothes Accidents happen!  Please provide a change of clothes labeled with your child’s name in a Ziploc bag.  If you are unable to send an extra uniform, please send a shirt, a bottom (skirt, shorts or pants) socks and underwear.  They may not have a bathroom accident, but may have a spill at lunch or fall in the dirt during recess.  It is important to have clothes so if an accident happens your child will have something to change into.

PE Days  Please send a water bottle on our PE days. Please be sure your child wears tennis shoes on these days.

Snack
We will have snack time each afternoon.  Each child will be responsible for bringing a healthy snack and a drink. It can be brought in daily or weekly. Snacks can be sent in early and stored.  If snack is forgotten we will try to replace the snack if possible.

Our first bulletin board of the year :-)
